Welcome to my public trading blog.  Poke around and see what this thing is all about.   The primary purpose of it is to give me an easy place to keep a diary of my trading such that it can help me improve my trading.  By making it public I can give others a chance to comment and give me ideas and in the end it all serves to keep me honest.  It’s all in black and white and raw so it’s difficult to forget the bad trades in favor of the good ones.

If you think a trade thesis is junk, tell me.  You won’t hurt my feelings.  All I ask is you keep it civil, professional and be specific.  Don’t tell me it’s crap without telling me why you think so.  That’s not productive and your post will wind up being ignored or worse.

If you have questions on a trade just ask me.  I’ll answer the best I can and hopefully we will both learn something.

As you will notice I’m an options junkie.  I don’t trade many stocks or ETFs directly anymore.  I think the beauty in options lies in their multiple dimensions.   They are like the Rubik’s cube of trading –  multifaceted, multidimensional with seemingly infinite combinations.

I will occasionally post articles about the goings on in my life.  I think it’s important to track major events in one’s life since everything we do affects our trading in some way.  It’s also a peek into my world as it is.  I won’t bore you with a lot of everyday information but if I think it’s relevant or maybe I just want to brag a little then I’ll write about it.

If you have books or web sites about trading you like let me know.  I’m always interested in finding new sources of information.

Having said all that I feel I need to say that this site is for me and it’s not so I can show off to the world my trading skills.  I don’t think they are all that any way.  So if no one feels the desire to comment or give feedback, so be it.  I still achieve my primary objective which is to have a diary of sorts about my trading life.  I do hope people will be inspired to ask questions and make comments but if not, well, trading will go on.
